On the Boardwalk...
Yesterday we got to spend some time with visiting family down in San Diego. We drove down and met them at the hotel and went swimming and then walked around the beach and then Marie Callenders for some awesome pie :). It was so much fun, man I haven't seen them in so long. It is always nice to catch up with family and you know me, always fun to take lots of pics! Scrapbooking Wahoo!
Life Church Scrapbooking FUN!
We had our first scrapbooking girls night last Sunday night it was so fun. I pretty much just organized/color-coded my paper (I have a bunch I got a great deal from costco a while back) and hung out with the gals and we had such a blast. I can't wait until the next one! It was my friend's first time scrapping and she did so good, it is so intimidating when I think about scrapbooking but she whipped out 3 pages! Go Veronica :)

My Blog
Well I have promising to start a blog for a long time now so enough procrastinating, here goes...:)
What's going on around here is craziness as usual. For those who don't know we have all been sick with one thing or another since February 12th when DD Michelle brought home the stomach flu, then we had the respiratory flu make it's rounds too. When Caleb got the stomach flu he lost 1/2 pound and his appetite along with it. I have been asking for and receiving advice from many people and after a lot of hard work and prayer he is finally gaining weight and will continue to do so (Lord Willing). I am thinking that he may have lost his appetite for a while, who knows?
Right now I am taking fenugreek seed for increasing my milk in the form liquid drops (or I should say liquid nastiness - it was cheaper than the pills, but now I see why, blech!) Also I'm drinking tea that has fenugreek seed and it's ok tasting. His nursing has definitely increased (he won't drink formula I've tried them all in all different bottles, even bought the bottle that goes around my neck that has tubes that tape to breast so he gets formula when nursing, but he comes off and makes faces).
Also he is finally eating 2-3 medium sized jars of baby food a day and I put about 3 scoops of formula in there and some oatmeal baby cereal (210+/- calories each sitting in addition to breastfeeding).
I cannot tell you how happy I was when they told me he gained a pound. I should also mentioned that his weight gain was from Saturday to Wednesday, that is amazing and is a total answer to prayer. We go back in one month for a weight checkup, he is heading back up on the percentile chart for his weight, hopefully he will be back to 50% soon.
